Dr. Nicholas DeLisi PT, DPT graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT in 2014. Following his undergraduate degree, he continued his graduate education at MCPHS University in Worcester, MA earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2019. He also has a Certification in Dry Needling (Cert. DN)/ Part 1 and 2.
As a former high school football player, Dr. DeLisi has always gravitated towards sports and had a passion for working with athletes. His passion for this career and working with athletes all started when he was playing high school football and tore his ACL and meniscus during his junior year of high school. He went to physical therapy determined to return for his senior season. During this time, he realized this profession was for him and became motivated to make it happen. He believes his personal experience receiving physical therapy is very important when relating to an athlete during the rehabilitation process.
